Sydney has a good public transport network. The college is in a very convenient central location in the city close to Town Hall train station making it easy for you to get to school and get to work.

Work

On a student visa you can work for up to 40 hours per fortnight while studying. Jobs are easily available so you can support yourself while studying and SELC has flexible timetable options to suit your working hours.

Climate

Sydney has on average more than 340 sunny days per year. Summers (from December to March are hot); winters (June to August) are mild with an average daily temperature of 15 degrees.

Sport is very popular in Australia and if you’re looking for an adventure there are many opportunities for you to try new things - scuba-diving, surfing and bushwalking are all possible within the Sydney metropolitan area.
